The Ultimate Ride Campground
is located on DuPont Road, beside the DuPont State Forest. We have
Horse, RV, and Tent sites, that will accommodate even the largest rigs (up
to 48 ft trailer length). The barn has large(12 x 12) stalls for our campers as
well as
off-site guests. Many sites have corrals for campside convenience. Our goal
is to provide all campers with a nearby and relaxing place to
enjoy The DuPont State Forest, Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville, and surrounding attractions.
We
are the only campground with off-road access into the
DuPont State
Forest. Direct access to the Waterfall Loop
makes for a beautiful horseback ride, bike ride, or hike. Ride or
hike from our gate to the Lake Imaging Trailhead , along our beautiful
trail(#86 on the DuPont State Forest map, URC Trail), beside private waterfalls and enormous trees. This trailhead
also puts you in a central location to enjoy all of the DuPont State
Forest trails, without breaking camp. Hooker Falls is only one mile
past our gate. Enjoy a wonderful, refreshing swim after a long day.

Over 100 miles of multi-use trails
are available within the
DuPont State
Forest . Additional trails at the
Pisgah
National Forest are within 15 miles. Enjoy a day at the
Biltmore Estate. Shuttle services
and trailer rental are available.
Rock climbing and Kayaking on the famous Green River are within a 30
minute drive. Fishing and hunting permits are available for both
forests(@ Wal-Mart). Shopping and dining in the nearby towns of Brevard and Hendersonville
are less than 15 miles away. Asheville is 35 miles away. Try our waterfall auto trek for a
beautiful afternoon getaway. Transylvania County is known as '"The
Land of Waterfalls" (see link below). Many only a short walk from your car!
Proximity to
DuPont State
Forest and easy access to many other
activities make The Ultimate Ride Campground the
